| Welcome every one! My name is Victor Mastakov, I am a professional NZTA approved driving instructor trading under the name of Auckland Driving Lessons Company. I provide driving lessons for car drivers in Auckland area servicing Central, East and South. Door to door service available six days a week Monday to Saturday. My automatic vehicle is equipped with dual controls, air bags and air conditioner for your safety and comfort. It is also smoke free. All lessons are tailored to your specific needs and time frame, skills, confidence and experience. Street Talk course is also available to reduce your restricted licence term.
I came from Siberia where ice and snow create challenging driving conditions for at least six months a year. Auckland’s Russian community regards me as a valuable member as I am the only Russian- speaking driving instructor in Auckland. As an immigrant myself, I have an understanding of the difficulties that new migrants can have in getting their NZ driver licence. All nationalities and ages are welcome to try my lessons – you will not be disappointed. In addition to my many years of driving experience, my NZQA qualifications include a National Driving Instructor Certificate L5 (Pass Rite Driving Academy - 2003) and a National Certificate in Adult Education and Training L5 (Te Wananga o Aotearoa - 2008). As a proud member of New Zealand Institute of Driver Educators, I am dedicated to deliver the quality driver education that sets the standard in the industry. I am also a trade qualified Automotive Technician with more than 20 years experience in Russia and New Zealand - you are welcome to use my expert advice on basic vehicle maintenance or when buying a vehicle - I am always happy to help.
Driving can be a lot of fun- it’s a lot like playing chess or a Play Station game. There are some similarities there: you have to be alert at all times, you have to use your controls correctly, you have to have a game plan, etc. etc. However, there is one big difference: if you lose a game – there are usually no consequences; if you lose control of your vehicle – there usually are.
That is why I believe that driving education is one of the measures which can help to reduce the number of accidents, injuries and fatalities on our roads. My main priority is to help you to learn how to drive safely – not how to pass the driving test. So come on board and have some fun in a safe and positive environment. |
